What is 10 minute mail?
10 minute mail is a temporary email address with a short session for receiving messages. TempHotmail pairs the address with an inbox and a visible 10-minute timer. Use it for a low-risk signup, a confirmation link or a test email when you do not want to share your primary address.
Whether you call it 10 min mail or 10 minute email, the task is the same: copy an address and receive a message before the session ends. It is receive-only, and the sender decides whether to accept disposable addresses.
Get your email in four steps
- Copy the generated address. Wait until an address appears, then use Copy to avoid typing errors.
- Use it for a short-lived task. Paste it into your own test application or a low-risk signup form.
- Keep the inbox open. Incoming messages appear here. Refresh if needed; delivery time depends on the sender and mail network.
- Extend before time runs out. Use Extend 10 min if you are still waiting. A successful extension resets the remaining session to 10 minutes.
Extending, expiring and reopening an inbox
The countdown controls the anonymous timed session. It is separate from how long an upstream provider may retain messages.

Check the full email address, leave enough time on the timer and refresh the inbox. If the website rejects the address, that is different from a message being delayed. Repeatedly requesting new codes can invalidate earlier codes.

How does 10 minute mail work?
The free timed tool opens a temporary receive-only inbox. Copy the address, use it for a short-lived message and read incoming mail on this page while the session is active. It does not create a permanent email account.
Can I extend my 10 minute email address?
Yes. Use Extend 10 min before the active session expires. A successful extension resets the remaining time to 10 minutes; it does not add 10 minutes to the time already left. An extension cannot recover an expired or deleted inbox.
What happens when the 10-minute timer ends?
The anonymous timed session expires and this page requests a new inbox. Do not rely on the old address for later access. Session expiry does not prove that an upstream mail provider has deleted every copy of a message.
Can I reopen the same 10 minute inbox?
The same browser may restore an active inbox if its local access data remains available. Closing the tab does not pause the session. Clearing browser data, replacing the address or letting it expire may end access. Knowing the email address alone is not enough to restore it.
Why is my verification email not arriving?
Check the full address and the remaining time, then refresh the inbox. The sender may delay delivery or reject disposable domains. Wait before requesting another code: a new code may invalidate the previous one. No temporary email service can guarantee acceptance by every website.
Is this a temporary Gmail account?
No. This page provides a disposable receive-only inbox, not a Google or Microsoft account. The separate temporary Gmail tool offers provider-domain plus-addresses with its own limits; those are not new accounts either.
