Step-by-step guide

How to create a temporary email address

Open the temporary email tool, copy the generated address, use it for a low-risk task, and keep the inbox open until the message arrives.

Create and use the address

  • Open TempHotmail and wait for the complete address to appear.
  • Select Copy instead of retyping the address.
  • Paste it into the low-risk website or test flow.
  • Return to the inbox and wait for the incoming message.
  • Refresh once if the sender confirms it has sent the email.

If you need a different address

Generate a new address when the current domain is rejected or when you want to separate two unrelated tasks. Messages sent to an old address do not move to the new inbox.

Know when to stop

If the account requires password recovery, payment, identity verification, or long-term access, use a permanent email address. A temporary inbox should never become the only way to recover something important.
